Transfer Application Process

Rockhurst High School accepts a limited number of transfer students at the beginning of each semester. In order to apply for transfer admission, a student must be a freshman, sophomore or junior in good standing at his current school with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Only students transferring from another Jesuit high school or a Catholic school outside of the Kansas City area are considered for admission for their senior year.

The transfer application portal for Fall 2021 admission will open on Monday, April 5, 2021.  You can get a head start on the application below.

  • MyRock Portal

    Create a MyRock account, by clicking on the Apply Now link below, to keep track and operate the Rockhurst application process.
  • Online Application

    The online application will open on Monday, April 5, 2021.  
  • Teacher Recommendation Form

    Available through your MyRock account, the teacher recommendation form is digital, and can be emailed directly through the portal.
  • Transcript Release Form

    For transfer applicants, upon submission of the transcript release form to your current school, they will forward your records, two previous years transcripts and any standardized tests to Rockhurst.  Two years may need to include transcripts from your grade/middle school. Please note: We request transcripts at the completion of the spring semester.  This form is available in your MyRock login.
  • Interview

    Once all above application details are complete, we will set up an in person or virtual interview.
