Transfer Application Process

Rockhurst High School accepts a limited number of transfer students at the beginning of each semester. In order to apply for transfer admission, a student must be a freshman, sophomore or junior in good standing at his current school with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Only students transferring from another Jesuit high school or a Catholic school outside of the Kansas City area are considered for admission for their senior year.

The priority deadline for students wishing to transfer for the spring, or second, semester is November 15, 2020. Students will be notified if they have been admitted mid December, 2020. Applications received after November 15, 2020, will be reviewed on a rolling basis if spaces become available. Rockhurst High School does not admit students mid-semester.

  • MyRock Portal

    Create a MyRock account, by clicking on the Apply Now link below, to keep track and operate the Rockhurst application process.
  • Online Application

    The online application will open on Monday, September 14, 2020.  
  • Teacher Recommendation Form

    Available through your MyRock account, the teacher recommendation form is digital, and can be emailed directly through the portal.
  • Transcript Release Form

    For transfer applicants, upon submission of the transcript release form to your current school, they will forward your records, 2 previous years transcripts and any standardized tests to Rockhurst. Please note, the transcripts may be sent after the completion of the first semester.  This form is available in your MyRock login.
  • Interview
