High School Placement Test

Applicants to Rockhurst High School must take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). This test will be given at Rockhurst on either Saturday, December 7, 2019 or Saturday, January 11, 2020. Check in is at 8:00 a.m. in McGee Hall. Testing begins at 8:30 a.m. To register for the Placement Test at Rockhurst you will click on the links to the right once those links go live in mid-late September. 

If you have not applied to Rockhurst, you will still use the links on the right to apply. This year families will be able to use our pre-pay option on the registration link. If you cannot pre-pay for any reason please contact the admissions office by email at bjerome@rockhursths.edu or by phone at 816-363-2036 ext. 557

Rockhurst's Admission Committee evaluates placement test scores when considering a candidate's potential to succeed in a college preparatory environment. Test results also help determine advanced class placement and summer school attendance.

  • What do I need to bring to the placement test?

    Only two #2 Pencils, This year families will use our pre-pay option when registering online for the HSPT. If you need to pay in cash or check please notify the admissions office at bjerome@rockhursths.edu or call 816-363-2036 ext. 557.
  • Are calculators allowed?

    No, calculators are not allowed.
  • What time will students be finished?

    Testing will finish at approximately 12:15pm. Students are invited to a complimentary pizza lunch after the test. Students will be finished with lunch at approximately 12:30pm.
