Letter from the President of the Alumni Board

Rockhurst High School alumni understand the importance of making a difference in the world. During our time at The Rock, we learned how to think, not just what to think.  We were challenged to distinguish ourselves in the Jesuit ideal as being “men for others,” while living up to the school’s own motto to find Sapientia in Christo (Wisdom in Christ).

Without a doubt, Rockhurst High School alumni do make a positive difference every day in the lives of other people. We share a special bond that cannot be broken.  The Rockhurst High School Alumni Network is very real. Your Alumni Board continues to look for activities to strengthen our shared connection to one another and to our alma mater.

Now more than ever, Rockhurst High School needs us as alumni. Enrollment is very strong; still, in a highly competitive modern-day educational environment, Rockhurst High School must have robust support from everyone who holds it mission dear and believes that Catholic Jesuit formation is a vitally important option for young men in Kansas City.

My invitation is for every alumnus to take an active interest in Rockhurst High School and our Alumni Association activities. You can click here to view a whole host of volunteer activities for alumni, and of course, your charitable gifts remain extraordinarily important for keeping The Rock strong. Please make your gift today by clicking here.

Thank you for everything you continue to do and be for Rockhurst High School.  GO HAWKLETS!

Sincerely yours,

Patrick A. McInerney ’82
