Rockhurst Athletics 2019-20 Recap

Cross Country 2020
The XC team placed 8th at State, and also won the District Championship. Joe Seitzer '21 and Brian Humphrey '23 were the team's top runners through the season, with Seitzer placing 25th at State and Humphrey placing 32nd. -
Football 2020
The Football Hawklets' season was cut short due to COVID. Rockhurst had a 5-3 record entering playoffs, but had to forfeit the District 1st Round game due to a positive case within the team. -
Soccer 2020
The soccer team won the Sectional Championship in a thrilling penalty kick shootout. Rockhurst advanced to the State Quarterfinals, but this time lost in penalty kicks. The team ended the season with a record of 18-3-1. -
Swim & Dive 2020
The Aquahawks are State Champions! For the 12th time in program history, Rockhurst swim & dive won the State Championship, scoring 347.5 points, nearly 100 points more than 2nd place. Caden Francois '23 won the 200 Free and the 200 Free Relay Team was also champs. -
Basketball 2019-20
The Basketball Hawklets fought to another winning season, finishing 14-12 on the year. Highlights included wins over St. James Academy, Blue Valley and St. Thomas Aquinas. -
Wrestling 2019-20
The Hawklets placed 11th out of 16 teams in Districts. Tyler Rinas '20 capped off his career with a State qualification in 160 lb. class and ended his senior season with a record of 32-8. -
Baseball 2020
The 2020 season was canceled due to COVID-19. -
Golf 2020
The 2020 season was canceled due to COVID-19. -
Lacrosse 2020
The 2020 season was canceled due to COVID-19. -
Tennis 2020
The 2020 season was canceled due to COVID-19. -
Track & Field 2020
