Altar Serving
Altar Serving
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the source and summit of the Christian life. Rockhurst students participate in the Sacrifice of the Mass in many ways, but in particular some serve as Altar Servers. Altar Servers assist during Mass by reverently processing in with the priests and then assisting in various ways at the altar. Those students who participate as altar servers are members of the Blessed Peter Faber Society. The Society is a great way for students to get involved and maintain a spiritual outlet within the community. Any student interested in serving in this capacity should contact Mr. Nickson for more information.
