Since 2012, Rockhurst High School has offered the Hurtado Scholars Program as an educational and leadership opportunity to prepare middle school boys to succeed at a Catholic college-preparatory high school.
Join us for an informative evening to hear updates about the progress and success of the Hurtado Scholars Program, as well as our exciting plans for what we can achieve together as Jesuit Partners in the future.
Susan & Pat Brosnahan '68 will be honored as this year's recipients of the "Fire That Kindles Other Fires" Award for their incredible generosity and stewardship of the Program.
We will also toast to Rev. William Sheahan, SJ, co-founder of the Hurtado Scholars Program, who has been called to serve in a new role with the Jesuits at Fordham University in New York.
The Brosnahans and Fr. Sheahan, SJ, have committed much time, energy, love, and resources to help usher the success of the Hurtado Scholars Program.
Will you consider making a gift to one or both funds?
Susan & Pat Brosnahan have challenged donors to make an impact at Rockhurst High School through the Brosnahan Challenge, a dollar-for-dollar match of every Hurtado Scholars Program donation, up to $50,000, made before June 30. Join the Brosnahan Challenge
The Rev. William T. Sheahan, SJ, Scholarship Fund has been established by benefactors to serve current and future middle school Hurtado Scholars, as well as Hurtado Graduates who attend Rockhurst High School. Donate to the Sheahan Fund
To protect the health and safety of all supporters, attendees who are not fully vaccinated are asked to wear a mask during the event.
