HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH

September 15 - October 15
September 15 marks the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month. Rockhurst High School wants to take this opportunity to acknowledge and honor the generations of Hispanic/Latinx Americans who have made a positive impact on the history and culture of the United States. We are excited to partner with our students, faculty, alumni and friends of Spanish and Latin American descent to learn more about Hispanic/Latinx history and culture. 
 
 
Partnership with The Hispanic Development Fund - Rockhurst will participate in the Hispanic Development Fund’s “Cambio por Cambio'' initiative.  Money raised by dress down days, a raffle and donations will be matched dollar for dollar by HDFKC.  All proceeds will support college scholarships for Rockhurst students of Hispanic heritage who apply for the 2026 Hispanic Development Fund scholarship.

Raffle Prizes:
Participants will be entered to win great prizes including an  autographed Sporting KC Jersey, an autographed Chris Jones football, restaurant gift certificates, and much more! Raffle tickets will be sold through October 17th.  The drawing will be on October 17th.
