Robotics Team Qualifies for World Championships

Rockhurst's Robotics Team, the Jesubots, won the FIRST Robotics Central Missouri Regional Competition in Sedalia, which earned them a spot at the World Championships. This is the first time that Rockhurst has won a regional in order to qualify for the world competition, which will be held in Houston over April 20-23.

 

The team consists of 16 students, led by teachers Andy Wilcox and Tim Nendick '08, and 11 of the team members were part of the regional competition in Sedalia.
