Annual Harvest Food Drive Supports Local Charities

Rockhurst's annual Harvest Food Drive took place from Nov. 9-20. The first week was dedicated to bringing in coats and winter clothing, and the second week was dedicated to bringing in canned goods. Monetary donations were encouraged both weeks.

This year's recipient organizations were Bishop Sullivan Center/Saint James Place, Seton Center, Saint Francis Xavier Church, Saint Louis Church, Cherith Brook Worker and Shalom House of Catholic Charities, and Don Bosco Center. 

Student efforts led to donations of more than 10,000 canned goods, 350 winter coats, and $7,500.
