At the Track & Field State Championships, Rockhurst finished in 7nd place. Montae Spiller placed 3rd in the 100 meter; Jimmy Dixon placed 5th in the shot put; Patrick Bowen finished 6th in the 400 meter; John Luder placed 10th in the 1600 meter; Nathan Hill finished 12th in the 300 meter high hurdles; Daniel Toomey placed 14th in the 3200 meter.  The 4x100 relay team won the State Championship; the 4x800 relay team finished 4th; the 4x400 relay team placed 8th.

At the Golf State Championships, Rockhurst finished in 2nd place.  This marks the 14th consecutive year the Hawklet golfers have finished in the top 3 at State.

Two Rockhurst Juniors earned perfect scores on the ACT. Blaise Rebman and Colin Slaymaker both scored a 36 on the test. On average, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of all students taking the test earn the top score.

Sophomore Collin Nill won 1st place in the White Rose Essay Contest, sponsored by the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education. Collin's essay was selected from more than 180 entries from throughout the metropolitan Kansas City area.

At the State Music Festival, Rockhurst sent a school-record 16 singers. All received the top two ratings possible: Andrew McLeese, Ben Pautler, Vincent Bockwinkel, Jed Rellihan, Randy Willnauer, Mac Walsh, Tony George, Mike Ha, Alex Reynolds, Stephen Schier, Oliver Hutchison, James Howerton, Dominick Parry, Will Bresette, Patrick Bessenbacher, Trevor Weinrich.

At the State Music Festival, the following musicians received a 2nd place medal for State: Patrick Vogt - violin, Vincent Jones - alto sax, Peter Spalitto - piano, Mikhail Faulconer - trumpet. The following earned 1st place medals: Liam Carroll - violin, Jordan Savage - alto sax, Joseph Pennington - clarinet, Vincent Galate - cello, Matt Roxas - piano.

Families of the Seniors of the Class of 2015 can pre-order a Senior DVD for $65 here. Footage includes Mother/Son Dinner Dance, Pre-Prom and Prom, and Graduation.
