Admission Process for International Students

Rockhurst High School International Student Policy:

Rockhurst High School accepts applications for sophomore (grade 10) and junior (grade 11) international students for admission at the beginning of the academic year. Prospective freshmen (grade 9) should follow the incoming student application process.

Decisions on international applicants will be based on English proficiency, previous academic merit, minimum of a 2.5 cumulative GPA, and the availability of space within the class. International students are expected to remain enrolled at Rockhurst High School for the duration of their high school careers, through graduation.

Rockhurst High School will process the I-20 paperwork for all international applicants after they have been accepted and are registered. It is the sole responsibility of the international applicant to schedule necessary appointments within their home country to obtain a student F1 visa.

International Student Tuition for the 2027-2028 academic year is $17,525 plus $2,000 for the International Student fee, plus $1,150 for the Lunch Fee and a $490 Technology Fee, for a total of $21,165. This tuition includes a student activity fee that supports pastoral, athletic and co-curricular activities and includes the Quarry, the Rockhurst High School yearbook. The International Student fee includes preparing the I-20 visa paperwork for the F1-visa, host family placement, and international student counseling. All tuition and fees are payable in full by August 1 prior to the beginning of the school year. Currently there is no Financial Aid or Scholarships available for International Students.
