Summer Camp:  Moviemaking

In this week long camp, students will explore storyboarding, scriptwriting, filming and editing a 3-5 minute video.  Students will use iPads and iMovie in this camp. This week-long camp is open to all age groups.

About the Instructor

Nicole Smith holds a Master’s of Art in Education from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Communications degree from the University of Florida.  She currently serves as Communication Arts department chair at Rockhurst High School.  She teaches Introduction to Moviemaking, Advanced Filmmaking and several other courses.

 
DATES: Session 1: Monday, June 5 - Thursday, June 8; 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  Session 2: Monday, June 12 - Thursday, June 15; 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
  Session 3: Monday, June 19 - Thursday, June 22; 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

WHO: Students entering grades 6 - 12, boys & girls
