Welcome to Rockhurst High School, Kansas City’s Jesuit college preparatory school.
It is my pleasure to introduce you to the life and vitality that makes our school community a source of pride for more than a century.
Rockhurst is part of a network of 59 other Jesuit high schools in the United States seeking to educate young men and, in some locations young women, into tomorrow’s leaders. We are also part of a much larger worldwide network that traces its roots to the first Society of Jesus school founded by St. Ignatius Loyola at Messina, Italy in the 1548.
Rockhurst High School serves the Kansas City area by educating a diverse group of students from more than 100 grade schools to be Ignatian leaders, “men-for-others,” in the Roman Catholic Jesuit college preparatory tradition. In the spirit of St. Ignatius, our goal is the formation of the whole person within a diverse and disciplined environment, as one who is open to growth, strives for academic excellence, is religious, loving and committed to justice through service.
Whether you are a graduate, parent, or someone interested in learning more about the school, thank you for visiting this website. We warmly invite you to visit the campus in person to see our state-of-the-art facilities and to introduce you to our wonderful faculty and staff.
