1660 AM The Score is the radio home of Rockhurst football and basketball games!  Tune in during every varsity game (home and away) for Mark Miller, the voice of the Hawklets.  You can also download the "1660 The Score" app through Apple and Google Play.

Rockhurst Athletics 2017-18

Cross Country 2017
The XC team placed 4th at the State Championship Meet.  For the first time in program history, three Hawklet runners earned All-State honors (placing top-25 individually): Tom Seitzer '19 (5th), Peter Campbell '18 (22nd), and Wes Porter '20 (24th).

Football 2017
The Football Hawklets played through a tough schedule all season and finished with an 8-4 record.  The Rock eventually lost to Park Hill in the State Quarterfinals.  Big wins included Shawnee Mission East and Bentonville (AR).

Soccer 2017
The Soccer team won the 2017 State Championship!  In fact, the Hawklets did not lose a game to a Missouri team all season.  Rockhurst finished its year with an impressive 27-3 record en route to the program's seventh State Title.  The Rock defeated CBC in the Semifinals and Vianney in the Finals.

Swim & Dive 2017
The Aquahawks competed in the State Championship and placed 11th overall as a team.  The 200-yard medlet relay team placed 7th and Dylan Nill '20 placed 6th in the 500-yard freestyle.

Basketball 2016-17
The Basketball Hawklets made a late-season push to finish with an 11-14 record before falling in District play.  The team graduates four seniors, but will look for the continued development of players like Xavier Rhodes '18, Darrius Hughes '19, Dalen Ridgnal '19, and A.J. White '18.

Wrestling 2017-18
Senior Dawson Ervie highlighted the Wrestling Hawklets' season with a State qualification - his second consecutive year earning a trip to Columbia.

Baseball 2017
The baseball season ended in the District Championship when the Hawklets lost a defensive struggle 4-2 to Lee's Summit.  The Hawklets finished the season with a winning mark of 16-14.  The team was led by a strong group of seniors - seven of whom have signed to play in college.

Golf 2017
At the State Championship, the Hawklets trailed the leading team by five strokes after the first day of play.  The Rock came storming back on the second and final day and shot a team-low in order to win the State Championship by three strokes.  They were led by Jake Propeck '18, who tied for 2nd overall.  Other team members were Rob Enright '17, Ethan Packel '17, Carson St. Clair '18, and Michael Bessenbacher '20.

Lacrosse 2017
The lacrosse Hawklets worked their way to a perfect regular season in the Lacrosse Association of Kansas City (LAKC), and kept their slate clean through the playoffs - earning the LAKC Championship.  The Rock held off rival Shawnee Mission East in the title game by a score of 10-9.  MVP Honors went to goalie Jake Sullivan '17.

Tennis 2017
The tennis team once again worked its way into the State Championship's Final Four.  The Hawklets fell to eventual champions Columbia Rock Bridge in the semifinals, but the team rebounded and beat Parkway Central to take 3rd Place.  The doubles team of Collin Klumb '18 and Henry Goeke '17 finished in 4th in doubles.

Track & Field 2017
The track & field team qualified two individual events and one relay for State.  Danny Toomey '17 placed 3rd in the 800m run, John Luder '17 placed 4th in the 1600m run, and the 4x800m team of Toomey, Luder, Zach DeLong '17, and Tom Seitzer '19 finished in 11th place.
