Speech & Debate Students Finish Among Top in State
Over April 22-23 at the 2022 MSHSAA Speech, Debate & Theatre Championships held at Missouri State University, Rockhurst had three event finalists - including one State Champion!
- Isaiah Moncrieffe '22 was State Champion in Lincoln-Douglas Debate
- Levi McConnell '22 placed 3rd in Prose Reading
- Maddux Radosevic '23 placed 4th in Radio Speaking
Isaiah is Rockhurst's 19th Speech & Debate State Champion in program history. Additionally, Isaiah's Championship helped Rockhurst tie with both Neosho High School and Springfield Central High School for 4th Place in Overall Debate Sweepstakes.
