Supporting The Rock

When the Coronavirus crisis struck the United States in March of 2020, appeals from Rockhurst High School families for additional financial aid due to a loss of income came flowing in. The school needed to raise $1 MILLION by the end of its fiscal year on June 30, 2020 to fund our financial aid budget by June 30, 2020.

It should come as no surprise that the Rockhurst High School community rallied on behalf of its families to raise $1,067,642 to meet the demand. Alumni and friends of The Rock responded in true form guided by the Jesuit ideal of acting as “men and women for others.” We extend our appreciation to everyone who helped the school rise to the challenge together. Many members of the Rockhurst High School community continue to need our support. They have asked for our help.

For those who are able, we welcome gifts of any size to the Emergency Relief Fund. Your gifts will help The Rock to mobilize resources to assist the on-going financial aid needs of Rockhurst High School students whose lives have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In anticipation of increased need for our students, this Emergency Relief Fund is accepting charitable donations right now. One-hundred percent of gifts will go directly to benefit those students whose financial status has been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Your gift in Rockhurst is an investment in the students of tomorrow. Your support helps ensure that the quality of our educational programs remains second-to-none, that faculty members are at the top of their fields, and that Rockhurst remains a school for the many and not the few.
